The sun was shining (hurrah!) as dozens of Yumbles makers gathered in a gastropub near Kings Cross. The room was a fantastic mix of both "old" and "new" makers meeting and mingling as only small producers can.
Lisa Budden blogger & Yumbles Community Champion was one of the first to arrive. Cue cheesy smiles of excitement from team Yumbles (founder Katie Kitiri and marketing guru Paola Papacosta).

Fantastic photographer Lucy Williams from My Heart Skipped who has shot produce by La Dinette amongst others, shared her top pointers for food photography.
The final session of the morning was the producer Q&A panel where Jane from Tipple Tails, Jenny from Moral Fibre Food, Sanjay from Spice Kitchen, Sarah from Cocoa Cabana and Lin from Belinda Clark shared their wealth of experience spanning topics from packaging solutions to scaling up production to nutritional analysis. Phew!
No Yumbles gathering would be the same without mouth-watering refreshments - treats included Tipple Tails cakes, Squirrel Sisters snack bars and Positivitea.
