The safety of our sellers is paramount and we take steps to ensure that our sellers operate in a safe environment. In addition to the protections we put in place and continue to evolve, we also ask that all sellers are aware that fraudulent activity can occur anywhere online, and follow some important advice to stay safe.
Phishing Attempts
Phishing is one of the most common online risks to be aware of. It is attempts by fraudsters to steal personal data, specifically your card or banking data.
They may do this on Yumbles by creating a customer account and posing as Yumbles and sending you a message asking for you to provide some account information via a link. See below for an example of this phishing activity:
Key Tips
Please follow this advice to stay safe:
- If you ever receive a message requesting you to follow a link and/ or provide your personal or business information, particularly any card data, please always take care and check the validity of the sender first.
- We will only ever contact you about your Yumbles account directly from our business email domain @yumbles.com (there are no other valid variations of this domain). We will not send you a message via the customer/ order messaging system in your Yumbles inbox about your account, we only use this channel if we are assisting you or one of your customers with an order specific issue.
- We will not send you to an external website outside of your Yumbles account asking you to provide sensitive data, particularly not payment or bank information.
If you are ever in doubt about a message or a request you have received, then contact us to check it for you.
