Today we announce the Makers of the Year 2026!
About the Awards
The Makers of the Year are our annual awards recognising the makers in our community who have had a particularly successful year, across 12 key categories - ten product categories and one "Newbie" award for a seller in their first year on Yumbles.
How are they chosen?
The awards are given to the makers who have seen both
- strong sales in their category and
- consistently delivered great customer service (looking at factors such as % orders fulfilled on time, % orders refunded, responsiveness to customer messages).
A high bar on Customer Service is as paramount to the Yumbles experience as the quality and uniqueness of the produce so that factor has equal weighting to sales.
What do they win?
Beyond the sheer recognition, these 12 makers will be celebrated across our site and in our marketing for the weeks to come giving them a great boost of visibility.
What's more, the announcement kicks off a voting period amongst Yumbles customers to pick one as the People's Choice winner. The maker with the highest votes will receive a marketing package worth over £2,000 to further help grow their business on Yumbles.
